The cottage sits at the heart of Ireland’s Wild Atlantic Way route and is a short 5 minute drive to the nearby village of Cloghane. Cloghane is a favourite with anglers, mountain walkers and those looking to plug out from the grid for a week. It is home to O’Connors bar, a lovely spot for a cold beer, a tasty burger or some traditional live Irish music. Take a step back in time as you walk through this sleepy village, visit the community shop, the fairy trail, the waters edge or sit a while in the peaceful surroundings of the local catholic church which was built in 1828.
