An Teach Beag, Cloghane is a beautifully renovated traditional Irish country cottage with 2 bedrooms, a games room and a dedicated work space, and can accommodate a family or a group of up to 4 people.

This home, which sits at the entrance of the sleepy village of Cloghane on the Dingle Peninsula, is surrounded by steep mountain ridges, dramatic waterfalls, endless bogs and lakes that have been carved out of valley floors. In todays busy world, this charming property offers peace and tranquillity yet has all the modern comforts including Wi-Fi.

You may want a weeks’ family holiday or just to work from home in west Kerry for a while and recharge your batteries, either way, a welcome awaits you at An Teach Beag.

This cottage is tucked into the edge of Mount Brandon, which is Irelands second highest peak, and it also overlooks the stunning Conor Pass. Its a rustic retreat with the perfect mix of countryside on the edge of a friendly village. And, if you listen closely, youll hear the local Wagtail birds lead a chorus of song every morning as you open your curtains.

The house sits a short walk from the community shop, bakery, church and OConnors Bar and Restaurant. Its also just a short drive away from the village of Castlegregory where you can learn how to surf, ride a horse across Brandon Bay or take a boat trip to Sauce Creek, an ancient spectacular creek bordered by sheer cliffs on all sides. And also not too far away are spectacular waterfalls, forest walks, and the relaxing ocean to help you clear your head.

Just a short 10 minute drive over the Conor Pass, which is a stunning drive nestled into the side of the mountain, lies Dingle town. There, you can visit the Kerry penguin colony at Dingle Ocean World, grab some tapas at Solas or take a boat trip out to the Blasket Islands, home to a unique colony of west Kerry seals.

Experience wildlife and nature on your doorstep as you step back in time. Life moves at a slower pace in Cloghane village where you will meet hill walkers, fishermen, open sea swimmers and outdoor enthusiasts from all over the world.

Expect to find an array of restaurants for all tastes and budgets tucked into the hills of Dingles North Shore. Stock up on supplies there or at the local Spar supermarket in Castlegregory, perfect for a BBQ in the magical garden and watch as the sun sets over Mount Brandon, calling time on another day in paradise.
