An Teach Beag sits at the entrance to the sleepy village of Cloghane on the Dingle Peninsula. A renovated traditional Irish country cottage surrounded by steep mountain ridges, dramatic waterfalls, endless bogs and lakes which have been carved out of valley floors. With two bedrooms, a games room and a dedicated work space, this house can accommodate a family of up to 6 people. You may want a weeks family holiday or you may just want to work from home in west Kerry for a while and recharge your batteries. Either way, a welcome awaits you at an Teach Beag.

Tucked into the edge of Brandon mountain and overlooking the Conor Pass Valley, this rustic retreat is the perfect mix of countryside on the edge of a friendly village. Listen to the local Wagtail birds lead a chorus of song every morning as you open your curtains and look high up to the waterfalls on the adjacent Brandon Mountain, Ireland’s second highest peak.

The house sits a short walk from the community shop, bakery, church and O’Connors bar and restaurant. Just a short drive away from the village of Castlegregory where you can learn how to surf, ride a horse across Brandon bay or take a boat trip to Sauce Creek, an ancient spectacular creek bordered by sheer cliffs on all sides. The house is a short drive from waterfalls, forest walks, and clear blue ocean to clear your head.

Just a short 10 minute drive over the Conor Pass mountain road, lies Dingle town. There you can visit our Kerry penguin colony at Dingle’s Ocean World, grab some tapas at Solas or take a boat trip out to the Blasket islands, home to a unique colony of west Kerry seals.

Experience wildlife and nature on your doorstep as you step back in time. Life moves at a slower pace in Cloghane village where you will meet hill walkers, fishermen, open sea swimmers and outdoor enthusiasts from all over the world.

Expect to find an array of restaurants for all tastes and budgets tucked into the hills of Dingle’s North Shore. Stock up on supplies at the local supermarket in Castlegregory or organise a BBQ in the magical garden and watch as the sun sets over Brandon Mountain, calling time on another day in paradise.
