This traditional Irish stone schoolhouse is over 200-years-old. It was restored with great sensitivity keeping in mind its rich history yet with a respect for modern comforts including Wi-Fi throughout the home.

It is nestled in the heart of Cloghane village, an area of outstanding natural beauty and local charm. At The Old Schoolhouse the atmosphere is intimate and magical, giving the visitor a sense of being in a world of their own. The splendid colours of Mount Brandon provide a magnificent backdrop to this unique seafront location. The house is situated on the shoreline of Cloghane Bay, offering the most incredible, panoramic views and soft sounds of the water right outside your door.

Please note the minimum stay is generally 3 nights. During high season; June, July, and August, and during Christmas week and Easter Break, the minimum is 1 week.

Sleeping accommodation consists of 3 bedrooms upstairs which are available as 1 King and 2 Twin Rooms (sleeps 6). There are 2 toilets and 1 shower.
